No stranger to the College of Engineering, Laura has worked with engineering faculty, instructors, and TAs via AE3 to enhance teaching and learning in the college from her position at the Center for Teaching Excellence.
Most recently, Laura has been the Director of the Intensive English Institute overseeing curricula, personnel, budget, and programming for non-native speakers. Also during the past four years, Laura has been a co-investigator on an NSF-funded study of international service learning in engineering; she also has a 0% Assistant Professor position in the Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering.
Laura’s skills in both engineering and international education are a timely addition to AE3 and will help insure that we continue to improve the academic experiences of our students!
