We are delighted to announce that on June 1 Dr. Jay Mann will join the Grainger College of Engineering as the new Director for the Academy for Excellence in Engineering Education (AE3). Jay has most recently served as the Director of School and Community Experiences (SCE) for the College of Education and a Lecturer in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction on our campus.
Jay is a twenty-year veteran educator with previous experience as a high school classroom teacher, school administrator, and teacher educator. He has a wealth of experience leading initiatives related to curriculum, instruction, and assessment. Since 2009 he has co-facilitated and participated in program redesign, course development, transition to online teaching, and other professional development activities related to undergraduate education in the College of Education.
